Seeking Grants

Since Athena Theatre received its nonprofit status, (Federal IRS Letter & State IRS Letter) we have been doing a lot of research on grants and fundraising.

Our goal is to own our own theatre where we can continue to provide theatre which we are proud of and passionate about. It will be an amazing opportunity for artists in our community where we seek to educate through the arts. We are on the brink of an exciting adventure and we invite you to be a part of it.

It is very important to us to continue to bring you live theatre. We receive all of our funding through admission to our shows and by donations or sponsors by our fans. With three shows a year at a budget of $20, 000 per show, we are seeking grants to fully realize our goal to own our own theatre. Click here to view our projected budget

Since February 2003, we have brought you amazing theatre. It is our goal to continue to grow and develop.

Athena Theatre is seeking:

Small fridge
Coffee Maker
Paint (mostly black, but would like other colors too)
Paint brushes (rollers too)
Refreshments (soda, juices, coffee, sugar, napkins, etc.)

If you have something appropriate for our current season:
Set pieces
Props
Costumes
Lights
Gels

And if anyone has a great space for a theatre, please think of us!
